The problem as I have never been to Armenia but I’ve witnessed the crap going on in California first hand; these Armenians were taught to hate the Turks. The same way I have been taught and how the Turks feel towards Armos for the most part is the same. So taking that into consideration note that Armenia was under solviet rule for decades as was the rest of Russia. Coupled with the fact that Turkey is the ally of the USA and our allies Armos feel displaced; even in America. They are territorial type people. I don’t think it registers with these gang members that what they are doing is NOT ARMENIAN. They look at it as if they are protecting their own territory. It’s primal and wrong and they are going to jail for it and I have NO reservations that what they are doing is SO WRONG on all levels. I have no defense of them nor can I think of one but just like most cultures they have selective memory and cannot see themselves as “the aggressor”.
